These nice looking briefcase Jack Blocks are designed to fit on top of a jack, stuck between metal and metal, to lift Rail Cars for repairs and maintenance. They look nice enough to be coffee tables! Kiln Dried Maple is hard, laminated and bolted makes them super tough.

These Pacific Coast Maple Jack Blocks are being used by the BC Transit Skytrain repair yard. Maple makes a good jacking block by keeping a steel on steel contact apart. Steel on the Jack Block won’t slip or skid.
