These 12″ x 48″ x 20′ Crane Mats were placed on top of a Bridge Deck for a wear surface. The bridge is in an industrial site and was getting beat up by constant heavy truck traffic. This will extend the life of the bridge deck by several years. Notice the special pop up lifting plates, hard to see in the photo, but with these pop up lifting plates there is no ankle twister holes in the deck. This means it is safe for pedestrian traffic as well as heavy vehicles. Each Crane Mat comes with 2 off-set lifting plate that extends out of the top of the mat and can be hooked up with a clevis. This makes the rigging very easy, no slinging the mat.
