Timbers for Rail Crossings are needed in a hurry, sometimes to access across tracks for emergency repairs. We make several sizes depending on rail height (6″ x 10″, 7″ x 10″ and 8″ x 10″). We undercut the bottom corners on 4 pieces to allow them to fit against the rail tie plates. Ends of timbers are bevelled on site to allow service vehicles to access the tracks (or manoeuvre out of the tracks). If anything is dragging from the Rail Cars it should bounce up (we hope)
